Sumaiya Tanim, Program Associate at the MOVE Foundation has recently joined a meeting of the 'Women Mediators Across the Commonwealth (WMC)' hosted by the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office to celebrate the 20th year of the UNSC Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. Representatives from the Commonwealth States, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon and Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex joined the webinar and applauded the work of women mediators and peacebuilders. As the first member from Bangladesh to the WMC network, we congratulate Sumaiya and appreciate her valuable contribution in peace advocacy.
