MOVE Foundation organized a dialogue on "Extremist & Fake Contents in Social Media: Challenges and way forward" on September 18, 2018 in Dhaka. Director of National Telecommunication Monitoring Centre (NTMC) Brigadier General Ziaul Ahsan presented the keynote while Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif MP spoke as the chief guest. Canadian High Commissioner Benoit Prefontaine, ex-Chief Information Commissioner Prof Golam Rahman, Hindu Buddha Christian Unity Council leader Kajal Debnath, Islami Oikya Jote leader Maulana Altaf Hossain, Major General (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim, BNP leader Barrister Sarwar, Bhorer Kagoj Editor Shyamal Dutta, and host of diplomats, security officials, journalists and Facebook page admins attended the dialogue.
